I regularly work with arts organisations engaging the community in creative projects. I predominantly coordinate and facilitate creative projects that engage in social action with refugees, young people, those who have experienced homelessness and people who suffer from mental health problems.
Recent highlights:
I am currently on the NNF Artist Bursary Programme with ‘The Belonging Project’ a toolkit, workshops and podcast for youth theatre professionals.
In 2023, I was Young Norfolk Arts Festival Producer.
As Creative Lives Community Producer for the East, I provided local developmental support to arts organisations, local councils and amateur creative groups to improve creative participatory opportunities.
I ran a radio club with service users of The Purfleet Trust, a charity supporting those with experience of homelessness.
I worked with The Garage and Clarion Trust on a youth led project at Taverham Secondary School. They created the Flowin and Glowin Festival to raise awareness and funds for period poverty with Bloody Good Period. We subsequently we won the Clarion Futures award for our efforts in community campaigning.
I produced The Lighthouse Project, a durational protest generating support for refugees in the south coast of England created in collaboration with Hastings Community of Sanctuary.
I was lead organiser of the Reclaim These Streets Hastings vigil for Sarah Everard and Blessing Olusegun in association with Women’s Voice.
